TRAUMA AND BEREAVEMENT Dr. Kaye is well known and highly respected by those who have endured trauma and bereavement. She is a frequent presenter and trainer at the Compassionate Friends chapter meetings and regional workshops. As a survivor of the WWII London Blitz, Dr. Kaye is fully cognizant of fear and trauma resulting from terroristic attacks on the innocent. She continues to experience and cope with post-traumatic symptoms from that time. This experience enables her to reach those who live in fear. Her approach is eclectic, drawn from listening to people's fears and anxieties. She teaches the importance of sharing feelings with those who have experienced similar situations, of living in the moment and of calling upon comfort from a higher power, such as religion, nature or the compassion of others. Dr. Kaye is available for bereavement and trauma training at hospitals, businesses, schools, universities and corporations particularly in the aspect of dealing with employees who have experienced a severe loss. Her assessment for the necessity of such training is to prevent the challenge of absenteeism, fatigue, low productivity which are just some of the results of unresolved grief and unfinished business. Dr. Kaye custom creates programs to individual companies as each is different. Please contact her for further information.
